Baba Karam. A Humorous Street Dance from Tehran
From the streets of Tehran, a fun and popular dance which fuses together humor and what Iranians call "gher" (a very distinctive movement of the hips). This dance was done primarily by men, but since the '70s a lot of women performed it (sometimes dressed up us men), following the steps of famous cabaret dancers of that time, such as Jamileh. So bring a small scarf and/or a fedora hat and let your gher go wild!
